Forums If you find no documentation at all about your problem on the internet, or if you just want to get in touch with the Chakra Community, use the Chakra Forums.
Before posting a new topic
Before you post a new topic to ask a question, please, search this wiki first. Also, these pages can clear many questions you might want to ask:
Frequently Asked Questions These are questions about Chakra that often come out in the Forums or IRC.
Frequently Encountered Problems Here you will find a list of the most usual problems users have with Chakra, and how to solve them.
General Guidelines
- Respect other users and their views, even if you disagree with them
- Tell us your architecture (i686 or x86_64), either in the thread title or in the posting itself
- Provide as much info as you can gather (backtraces, console output etc etc)
- Mark your post as solved with [SOLVED] in the title if your problem has been resolved (just edit your post)
Dont just write "I have a problem with..." or something like that, it doesn't help at all... Again, include as much details as you can gather, this is a requirement for quality answers!
Signature
There are some rules about the forums signatures:
- Links to commercial sites are forbidden. Only links to personal pages, blogs or opensource websites are allowed[1].
- It's normally a good practice to add the specifications of any personal computer using Chakra to the signature. This is since most times this information is needed to solve or workaround an issue, and reporters often miss it.
